Pendemy Inc. (Headquarters: Fuchu, Tokyo; CEO: Hayato Kimura), which plans and develops STEAM education integrating cutting-edge digital technology and manufacturing, in collaboration with the "NPO Pendemy Digital Education Lab," which is responsible for partnerships with public institutions and schools, will support the activities of the Toyo University SDGs Ambassadors. Together, they will hold an experiential event, "Open Campus for Elementary Students," targeting elementary school students and their guardians at Toyo University's Hakusan Campus on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
"What is a university like?" Current university students directly convey the appeal of learning to elementary students! "What kind of place is Toyo University?" "What are the SDGs activities done at the university?" — To answer such pure questions from children, the students of the Toyo University SDGs Ambassadors have planned this one-day-only campus tour themselves. In cooperation with the student organization that implements student-led actions to enhance and develop SDGs activities, we have prepared an experiential program for children to feel familiar with and enjoy learning about "the place called a university" and "SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)" from their elementary school years.
3 "Exciting" Experiences Brought by the Program This event offers not just facility tours, but practical experiences that stimulate children's intellectual curiosity.
