Pendemy Inc. (Headquarters: Fuchu, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hayato Kimura), which plans and develops STEAM education that fuses cutting-edge digital technology with hands-on creation, is strengthening its organizational structure in collaboration with the NPO Pendemy Digital Education Lab. This initiative aims to expand 'industry-academia-government collaborative, on-site STEAM education' to deliver high-quality learning to educational institutions and local facilities nationwide.
With the expansion of our activities, we have begun recruiting professional pro-bono members and student volunteers to work with us in creating 'learning that helps children find their passion'—the kind of engagement where they lose track of time.

■ Tackling the Education Gap through a Hybrid 'Corporate x NPO' Collaboration Model
'We want to deliver cutting-edge education to every child, regardless of their environment or economic background.'
To realize this strong mission, Pendemy operates through two organizations: 'Pendemy Inc.,' which handles the planning and development of educational content, and the 'NPO Pendemy Digital Education Lab,' which manages collaborations with public institutions, schools, and social contribution activities. This unique model combines high-quality service development as a corporation with the high public interest of an NPO. We have held over 50 STEAM education events to date. Currently, to accelerate the resolution of the social issue of the 'education gap' caused by rapid technological developments like AI, we are strengthening our structure to bring our accumulated know-how directly to schools and local communities.
■ Over 50 events held: A track record of diverse STEAM education events through industry-academia-government collaboration
The NPO Pendemy Digital Education Lab has collaborated with various companies, universities, and local governments to hold over 50 educational events. Below are some examples of projects we have planned and operated.
1. Collaboration with Universities (e.g., Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology)
In partnership with the university student circle 'Machiken,' we planned an 'Open Campus for Elementary School Students' set on a vast campus. By designing a learning flow that includes observing plankton in ponds and interacting with real animals, we translated the university's specialized research resources into experiences for children, creating a new space for learning that is open to the community.
