Pendemy Inc. (Headquarters: Fuchu City, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hayato Kimura), which plans and develops STEAM education that fuses cutting-edge digital technology with manufacturing, is strengthening its organizational structure in partnership with the NPO Pendemy Digital Education Lab. This effort is aimed at deploying "Industry-Academia-Government Collaborative Mobile STEAM Education" to deliver quality learning to educational institutions and community facilities across the country.
With the expansion of future activities, we have begun a public call for adult professionals interested in pro bono work and student members who can help us create "learning that discovers passion"—the kind of learning that makes children enjoy themselves so much they forget the time.

■ Challenging Educational Disparities through a Hybrid "Corporation x NPO" Model
"We want to deliver cutting-edge education to every child, regardless of their environment or economic situation."
To realize this strong mission, we at Pendemy operate our business through two organizations: "Pendemy Inc.," which handles the planning and development of educational content, and the "NPO Pendemy Digital Education Lab," which handles collaboration with public institutions and schools, as well as social contribution activities.
Through this unique collaborative model, we balance high-quality service development as a corporation with high public interest as an NPO. To date, we have held a total of more than 50 STEAM education events. Now, to further accelerate the resolution of the social issue of "educational disparity" caused by rapid technological advancements such as AI, we are strengthening our structure to consolidate our existing know-how and provide learning directly to schools and local communities.
■ Over 50 Events Held. Track Record of Diverse STEAM Education Events through Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration
The NPO Pendemy Digital Education Lab has held more than 50 educational events in cooperation with various companies, universities, and local governments. Below are some project examples planned and managed by our organization.
1. Collaboration with Universities (e.g., Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology)
In partnership with the student circle "Machiken," we planned an "Open Campus for Elementary School Students" utilizing the expansive campus. We designed a flow of learning that includes observing plankton in ponds and experiencing hands-on interaction with real animals, translating the university's specialized research resources into experiences for children. We are creating new places of learning that are open to the local community.

2. Collaboration with Global Corporations (e.g., Texas Instruments)
As part of the company's CSR activities, we held a workshop at the Tokyo Metropolitan College of Industrial Technology challenging students to engage in "Sustainable Urban Planning for Shinagawa." Using unique card-based educational materials, participants came up with ideas for solving environmental issues and visualized them as "prototypes" using LEGO® bricks.

3. Collaboration with Public Facilities (e.g., National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation)
In cooperation with large-scale facilities like the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan), we held educational events using the latest digital technology. We carried out a project where children used 3D modeling software to design their own "Future Sustainable Facilities," which were then displayed as one large city through AR (Augmented Reality) projection.

Proven Track Record in Planning and Operating Workshops on a Wide Range of Other Themes
In addition to the large-scale industry-academia-government collaborative projects mentioned above, we continuously plan and implement workshops on various themes that stimulate children's intellectual curiosity.

"Focus on Parachutes! The Rocket King Tournament"
-
"Discover the Mysteries of Light! Let's Build a Fiber Optic Tree!"
-
"Solve the Secrets of Insects! Insect Repellent Gel Laboratory"
-

-
