Call for Volunteers: Startup World Cup 2026 Tokyo Regional

Pegasus Tech Ventures (Headquarters: San Jose, California, USA; CEO: Anis Uzzaman) is seeking volunteer staff to support the operations of the Startup World Cup 2026 Tokyo Regional.

The Startup World Cup 2026 Tokyo Regional, one of the world’s largest startup pitch competitions held across more than 130 countries and regions, will take place on July 17 (Fri) at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. Attracting approximately 4,000 attendees both in-person and online, the event brings together Japan’s leading startup founders, corporate executives, politicians, and other key figures shaping the future.

We are now recruiting dedicated operational volunteers who will support the event up close and help empower the next generation of startups. This is a rare opportunity to experience the forefront of innovation firsthand. We look forward to your application.

Volunteer Overview

You will be assigned to one of the following teams to support the event.

Please indicate your availability for one of the following shifts:

Morning shift: 8:00–16:00 (may end earlier) Evening shift: 12:00–21:00 (may vary slightly)

*Volunteers available for both shifts are highly encouraged to apply!

Venue

Grand Hyatt Tokyo (6-10-3 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo 106-0032)

Responsibilities

- Setup: Registration desk preparation, venue decoration, distribution material organization - Event operations: Guest registration and guidance, on-site wayfinding, speaker support, green room assistance - Teardown: Packing up and removing event materials

The Startup World Cup is one of the world’s largest pitch competitions, featuring regional qualifiers across more than 130 countries and regions, bringing together the most innovative startups.
