Peers Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Kuwano; hereinafter "the Company") announces that it has entered into a business alliance agreement with Airtrip Corp. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CFO: Yusuke Shibata; hereinafter "Airtrip") regarding sales promotion support for travel-related services.
Through this partnership, both companies will integrate their customer bases and service assets to promote the use of travel services and strengthen customer touchpoints.
Background of the Business Alliance The domestic travel market is in a phase of renewed growth, with the Japan Tourism Agency reporting that domestic travel consumption in 2025 reached a record high of 26.7746 trillion yen. Moving forward, the market is expected to enter a new phase where, in addition to a significant increase in the number of travelers, rising unit prices and the quality of customer touchpoints will determine market growth. Consequently, the importance of sales promotion models that continuously stimulate travel demand is increasing.
On the other hand, the travel service sector faces structural challenges: because travel is a low-frequency purchase, it is difficult to build continuous customer touchpoints, making the sector prone to price competition and comparison-shopping. Therefore, there is a need to create new demand based on continuous usage by combining travel services with platforms that have daily user engagement.
Against this backdrop, this partnership aims to create continuous customer touchpoints in the travel sector and improve Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
Strengths of Each Company Airtrip is an Online Travel Agency (OTA) with one of the largest volumes of domestic airline ticket handling. Its strengths lie in its robust digital customer base, supported by extensive travel inventory, price competitiveness, and high brand recognition in the OTA market.
Meanwhile, the Company has a proven track record of deploying multiple contents on platforms such as "d Value Pass" provided by NTT DOCOMO, INC. (hereinafter "NTT DOCOMO"). We possess strengths in sales promotion design and operation utilizing member bases, as well as unique OMO (Online Merges with Offline) marketing that integrates real-world customer touchpoints.
Through this partnership, by fusing our expertise in platform operation and sales promotion design with Airtrip's travel products, price advantages, and content assets, we can incorporate travel services—typically low-frequency purchases—into daily touchpoints, enabling the creation of new demand based on continuous usage.
This will allow us to stimulate travel demand, increase usage frequency, and strengthen user engagement, thereby promoting the provision of high-value-added services in the travel sector.
Details of the Business Alliance In this partnership, the Company and Airtrip will integrate their assets and know-how to collaborate in the following areas:
• Sales promotion support for travel-related services: Utilizing the Company's track record in operating telecommunications carrier platforms, we will deploy initiatives to attract customers and promote usage of Airtrip's travel services.
• Planning and provision of coupons and benefits: Based on Airtrip's travel inventory and price advantages, we will jointly develop various incentive measures to promote user engagement by combining our sales promotion design know-how and system development capabilities.
• Implementation of member-oriented promotions: We will utilize lottery functions and point schemes developed and provided by the Company to encourage continuous user access and service utilization.
Through this partnership, we aim to realize services that provide more attractive and continuous value to users.
Future Outlook Based on this partnership, as a concrete initial initiative, both companies will launch "Airtrip for d Value Pass," a joint project, on the smartphone service "d Value Pass"*1*2 provided by NTT DOCOMO, scheduled for April 2026. Specific service details will be announced sequentially in the future.
Starting with this service, both companies will proceed with the expansion of initiatives to aim for the creation of continuous revenue opportunities in the travel service sector.
The Peers Group, with its purpose of "NEW NORMAL ACCELERATION," aims to optimize communication across all industries through digital transformation support in sales and customer touchpoint areas, and the construction of generative AI utilization models rooted in frontline operations.
*1 As of March 1, 2026, the name will change from "Sugotoku Contents®" to "d Value Pass." *2 "d Value Pass" is a content service provided by NTT DOCOMO available for a monthly fee of 550 yen (tax included).
The monthly usage fee is free for 31 days from the initial application. "d Value Pass" is a trademark of NTT DOCOMO.
