'Rakuten Pay' and 'Rakuten Point Card' Launch 'Samsung Wallet Exclusive: Rakuten Pay & Rakuten Point Card Registration Campaign'

Rakuten Payment, Inc. (hereinafter 'Rakuten Payment') announces that to commemorate the availability of its cashless payment service 'Rakuten Pay' and shared point service 'Rakuten Point Card' on the digital wallet app 'Samsung Wallet' (Note 2) within 'Samsung Galaxy smartphones' (Note 1) provided by Samsung Electronics Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Samsung') starting today, the 'Samsung Wallet Exclusive: Rakuten Pay & Rakuten Point Card Registration Campaign' (hereinafter 'this Campaign') will be held from Thursday, April 23, 2026, to Sunday, June 14, 2026.

This campaign will award 500 'Rakuten Points' to the first 10,000 users who register 'Rakuten Pay' in 'Samsung Wallet', and another 500 points to the first 10,000 users who register their 'Rakuten Point Card'. Those who register both 'Rakuten Pay' and 'Rakuten Point Card' will receive a total of 1,000 points. Please note that there are conditions for awarding points, and conditions apply to the bonus points (including limited-time points). 'Rakuten Pay' is a convenient and advantageous cashless payment service that has earned the unprecedented (Note 4) No. 1 rating in 'Customer Satisfaction' for 3 consecutive years in the QR code payment category of the 2025 JCSI (Japanese Customer Satisfaction Index) (Note 3) survey. On the 'Rakuten Pay' app, by fulfilling the conditions, presenting the 'Rakuten Point Card' at eligible stores, and making a code payment (Note 5) with 'Rakuten Pay' funded by 'Rakuten Cash', users receive up to 2.5% back in 'Rakuten Points' (Note 6).

Rakuten Payment will continue to improve its services to expand opportunities to use cashless payments and provide users with a more advantageous and highly convenient payment experience.
