Rakuten Payment, Inc. (hereinafter "Rakuten Payment") is pleased to announce that its cashless payment service "Rakuten Pay" will participate in the "Support Satsumasendai City with Cashless Payments!" campaign, implemented by Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture, from Wednesday, April 1, 2026, to Thursday, April 30, 2026.

In this campaign, users who use "Rakuten Pay" code payment (Note 1) at eligible stores in Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture, during the campaign period will receive up to 30% of their payment amount back in "Rakuten Points" (Note 2).
Furthermore, within the "Rakuten Pay" app, by meeting certain conditions, presenting a "Rakuten Point Card" at eligible stores, and using "Rakuten Pay" code payment (Note 1) with "Rakuten Cash" as the payment source, users can receive up to 2.5% "Rakuten Points" cashback (Note 3). Therefore, when combined with this campaign, the total point cashback can be up to 32.5%.
Rakuten Payment aims to contribute to the region through public-private collaboration, with the goal of revitalizing the local economy and further promoting the use of cashless payments.
(Note 1) Code display, QR code scanning, and self-payment are eligible. Online payments are not eligible.
