Pagent, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Junichi Suzuki; hereafter, Pagent) has now integrated the post-payment service 'NP Atobarai,' provided by Net Protections, Inc. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shin Shibata).

Background and Overview

As payment methods continue to diversify, it is essential for e-commerce businesses (merchants) to flexibly meet customer payment needs to increase sales. Reducing the risk of 'cart abandonment' (leaving the purchase screen) due to the absence of a desired payment method and preventing lost sales opportunities has become a critical challenge for many merchants. Against this backdrop, Pagent has decided to add 'NP Atobarai,' a payment method that can contribute to preventing 'cart abandonment.' By introducing this service, merchants can prevent the loss of younger customers who do not own credit cards and those who refrain from using them due to security concerns, leading to the acquisition of new customers and increased sales.

Features of 'NP Atobarai'
