'IFRS Kentei' Renamed to 'IFRS Certificate Exam'

Abitus (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Jun Usaka), a member of the Pathmake Group that offers international qualification courses, announced that the 'IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) Kentei,' for which it is entrusted with exam operations in the Japanese market by ICAEW, will be renamed 'IFRS Certificate Exam' effective June 1, 2026 (Monday). In conjunction with this name change, the preparation program offered by Abitus will also be renamed 'IFRS Certificate Exam Preparation Course' on the same day. Since its inception in 2008, Abitus has been a pioneer in IFRS education, producing many successful candidates in Japan for over 18 years, and will continue to support business professionals in acquiring international accounting skills.
