Pasona Group and Taipei Medical University Sign MOU for Human Resource Development and Career Development Collaboration – Internships and Joint Programs to be Implemented on Awaji Island

Pasona Group Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chairman and CEO: Hirotaka Wakamoto) and Taipei Medical University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on April 10 (Friday) to promote human resource development and career development through internships, training, and joint programs.

In recent years, the concept of health has expanded beyond treating illnesses to include interest in maintaining and improving health, such as prevention. Among these, there is growing attention to the concept of "mibyo" (pre-symptomatic disease), which addresses conditions that are not yet illnesses but not fully healthy, and holistic health, which encompasses not only the body but also the mind, society, and environment.

Pasona Group is working to create a Well-being industry to realize "NATUREVERSE," a truly rich world where people, nature, and technology coexist, and people are connected by compassion. On the other hand, Taipei Medical University, established in 1960, leverages its long history and extensive affiliated hospital network to develop education and advanced research in the medical and health fields.

Now, Pasona Group and Taipei Medical University have signed an MOU with the aim of developing human resources who can play an active role in the international community. Utilizing Pasona Group's facilities on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, they will offer internships for Taipei Medical University students and implement field programs, creating learning opportunities in holistic health, medical innovation, and and sustainable community development. They will also exchange opinions and share knowledge on startup collaboration and other areas.

Through this MOU, they will promote the development of the next generation of talent and contribute to improving people's physical and mental health and well-being.
