Shikishima Baking Co., Ltd. (Pasco) will launch "Nama Nagoyan Milk" in the Kanto, Chubu, Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions starting Friday, May 1, 2026.

*Pre-sales will begin on Tuesday, April 21, at select stores.

"Nama Nagoyan Milk" is a confection made by steaming a castella cake dough made from domestic wheat infused with Hokkaido condensed milk, which encases a cream blended with Hokkaido condensed milk and egg yolk paste. The smooth, melt-in-your-mouth cream, combined with the moist dough, creates a flavor that can be enjoyed all year round.

The castella cake dough uses 100% "Kinu Akari" wheat flour, a wheat variety born and raised in Aichi Prefecture. "Kinu Akari" was named with the meaning "wheat that can make udon as beautiful and bright as silk," but its characteristics allow it to be used not only for noodles but also for Western and Japanese confectionery.

Nama Nagoyan

Based on Pasco's long-selling "Nagoyan," which has been loved by many customers since its launch in 1957, "Nama Nagoyan" was created with a moist and soft texture by steaming a domestic wheat castella cake dough wrapped around a smooth cream blended with egg yolk paste. It was born from an employee's idea to commemorate the company's 100th anniversary in 2020.
