Hiroshima PARCO (10-1 Hon-dori, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City) will present the 'Everyone's Ponkikkies Exhibition: P-kies for Everyone' from Friday, July 3, 2026, at PARCO FACTORY on the 6th floor of its main building. This exhibition celebrates 'Ponkikkies,' a beloved children's TV program that, despite being aimed at children, continues to enchant adults and remains deeply cherished by many.
The exhibition will showcase the world of characters, music, and visuals from the Fuji TV series 'Ponkikkies,' featuring photo spots and rare archival materials from the original broadcasts. Through reinterpretations by various creators, the exhibition offers an engaging experience for visitors of all ages—from children to adults.
A special POP-UP shop will run concurrently at the venue, offering a wide range of merchandise featuring Ponkikkies characters, including classic Gachapin and Mukku items as well as exclusive goods available only at this exhibition.
Additionally, a greeting event featuring Mukku will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, to commemorate the opening. We invite families and friends to enjoy this nostalgic and contemporary celebration of 'Ponkikkies' during the early summer season.

Exhibition Highlights
The 'Ponkikkies' series, an educational children's program that first aired on April 2, 1973, and ran for approximately 45 years, introduced iconic characters beloved across generations. These include Gachapin, the young dinosaur; Mukku, the child of the snowman; Connie-chan from the rock-paper-scissors-loving 'Jakajaka Jan-ken'; and P-chan, an alien from Planet P in the Alphabet Star.
The show has left a lasting impact on Japan's music and cultural scenes and continues to hold a special place in the hearts of many. This timeless program continues to inspire artists and audiences alike.
For this exhibition, artists including Kintaro Takahashi, Shotaro Kitada, Sean Wasserspoon, Chocomoo, Donchi, minomi, Natsu Yamaguchi, Nii Na Ai, Seiji Matsumoto, and yooolk will present newly created collaborative artworks.
The key visual is designed by Tetsuya Nagato, with art direction by yooolk.
Each artist will interpret their favorite characters through unique styles and media, creating original pieces. Additionally, past works from Yeka Haski’s 'Gachapin Mukku Art Project' will be specially exhibited.
The exhibition will also feature rare archival materials and original costumes, including those worn by Ranran Suzuki and Namie Amuro as Sister Rabbits, the cap worn by BOSE of Schadaraparr, and outfits worn by Kenji Ozawa (Ozaken-kun).
