He started working immediately after graduating from junior high school and aspired to start his own business amidst grueling labor. Despite facing numerous hardships, including accidental injuries and long hospitalizations for serious illnesses, he successfully launched a business, raised a family, and grew his company after each recovery.

Currently, he calls Okhotsk, Hokkaido, his second home, enjoying salmon fishing and a life surrounded by nature. However, he also witnesses the reality of losing once-rich nature due to the effects of global warming. In the final chapters of the book, he reflects on his life while considering the changing global environment and the future of humanity.

Author Profile: Born in Shimane Prefecture in 1944. Entered society at 16 and gained experience in various jobs. Independent and founded his company in 1967 at age 23. Obtained various Ministry of Transport qualifications between 1965 and 1977. Developed business as a dealership in collaboration with Fuji Heavy Industries. Dissolved the corporation in 2020. His hobbies include boating and participating in fishing operations with a fishing right. He belongs to a preservation society and enjoys playing the shamisen and drums. He fishes for salmon in Hokkaido every year and enjoys a 1,000-square-meter vegetable garden and orchard. This is his first published work.
