Panasonic and Combi Co-Host First-Ever 'Pre-Mom and Pre-Dad Lesson'

Panasonic Corporation, together with Combi Corporation, held a joint "Pre-Mom and Pre-Dad Lesson" on June 20, 2026 (Sat).

This event introduced practical tips for first-time parents-to-be on how to seamlessly balance childcare and housework, through live demonstrations and hands-on experiences.

Over 85% Feel "Anxious About Childcare and Future Life" – Real Voices Revealed in Pre-Event Survey

A prior survey (※) revealed that over 85% of respondents experienced anxiety or worries about childcare and their future lives during their first pregnancy.

When asked how actual childcare compared to their expectations during pregnancy, 57% responded that "childcare was more difficult than expected," highlighting the importance of preparation and information gathering beforehand.

Furthermore, when parents reflected on their postpartum lives and shared what they were glad they had prepared or wished they had adopted earlier, the top two responses were: 1) introducing convenient home appliances, and 2) preparing baby essentials. Among home appliances recommended for families with infants, dishwashers were mentioned most frequently.
