In recent years, urban areas have seen a trend towards more compact housing, making it difficult to manage all storage needs within the living space alone. Against this backdrop of increasing demand for decentralized storage of disaster preparedness supplies, seasonal items, and hobby goods, self-storage is evolving from a mere storage service to a form of living infrastructure.
