"Taiki Coop Farm Co., Ltd." (Subsidized organization of Pal System Federation "Community Development Fund")
Taiki Coop Farm Co., Ltd. (Gojo City, Nara Prefecture; President: Munetaka Wada), which produces persimmons and plums at the border of Wakayama and Nara prefectures, is a producer group with over 30 years of history as a direct-trade partner of Pal System. The company is committed to continuing environmentally friendly agriculture in the mountainous areas of the Kii Peninsula with the next generation of producers, and is also focusing on processing and selling agricultural products such as the long-selling "Nanko Umeboshi (Direct Trade)".
The main product, plums, has been affected by reduced yields due to unusually warm winters in recent years. To expand and improve the efficiency of dried daikon radish production as a replacement main product, subsidies were used to purchase equipment and materials for drying facilities. This is a production area where further promotion of regional agricultural product utilization and strengthening of cooperation are expected.
