Deepening Reflection on Peace

Following the agenda discussions, as a supplementary program, Mr. Yuta Takahashi, Representative Director of the nonprofit organization Katawara (based in Yokohama, Kanagawa), introduced initiatives toward a world without nuclear weapons and facilitated an imaginative exercise titled "What if you were in Hiroshima on August 6?" Participants shared their thoughts and feelings about what they might experience if they were in Hiroshima immediately after the atomic bombing, deepening their reflections on peace.

Palsystem Kanagawa will continue to promote its operations and activities within the prefecture to realize its mission: "Valuing life, and creating a rich local society through the power of independence and cooperation."
