The Pal-system Consumers' Co-operative Union (Headquarters: Okubo, Shinjuku-ku; President: Haruyuki Shibusawa) will hold a 'Work Experience' project at its logistics and IT experience facility in Inagi City, Tokyo, for five days on April 29 (Wed/Holiday), May 2 (Sat), 4 (Mon/Holiday), 5 (Tue/Holiday), and 6 (Wed/Holiday), 2026. Targeted at elementary school students and their guardians, the program introduces the delivery mechanism through logistics and IT experiences.

### Free participation, gifts provided after completion The work experience facility is equipped with the actual sorting machines used in Pal-system's logistics centers, along with original videos, panels, and tablets. The program takes about an hour, allowing participants to learn about the delivery system while having fun. Gifts are also prepared after the program ends. (Supported by the Inagi City Board of Education)

Pal-system delivers a total of over 10 million items to 800,000 households every week. The project introduces the mechanisms used to reliably deliver massive amounts of products by fully utilizing logistics sorting equipment and information systems. It also helps in understanding movements in modern society, such as the rapidly spreading digitalization. Furthermore, it explains the sustainable mechanism of reducing food loss through the pre-ordering of groceries via the co-op's delivery service.

Pal-system has been running work experience projects since 2023. Including workplace experience acceptance for educational institutions like local elementary and junior high schools, over 1,700 people have participated so far. Children who participated have shared comments expressing their enjoyment, such as 'Shopping on a tablet is interesting' and 'I want to experience more'. Parents also gave favorable reviews, saying 'It was educational for adults too' and 'My child has become interested in food'.
