'Civic Activity Grant System' aiming for a region where people can live vividly. Grant presentation ceremony in Takasaki City on Wednesday, April 8 [Gunma]

Palsystem Gunma Consumers' Co-operative (Headquarters: Nakaorui-machi, Takasaki City, President: Makiko Ohira) will hold the 2025 activity report meeting for the "Civic Activity Grant System" and the 2026 grant presentation ceremony on Wednesday, April 8, at the Takasaki Center (attached to the headquarters). Aiming for Palsystem Gunma's philosophy of "creating a local community where people can live vividly and richly in heart through the power of cooperation," we financially support civic groups that are working to solve problems such as isolation, poverty, and support for domestic violence victims in the region.

Supporting the creation of places in the community and international exchange At the activity report meeting, six organizations that received a grant of 1,366,600 yen in 2025 will present the results of their projects. At the grant presentation ceremony, six organizations that will receive a grant of 1.6 million yen in 2026 will introduce their planned projects. We will communicate the grassroots activities of citizens facing various regional issues, such as poverty, abuse, and the isolation of children, the elderly, and people with foreign roots.

Through the presentation of their project contents, each organization will interact as peers aiming to solve regional issues.

Users of Palsystem Gunma will also participate to deepen their understanding of the various issues behind their daily lives and the grant projects.

The "Civic Activity Grant System" was established in 2021 to utilize surplus funds from businesses such as delivery services in collaboration with various organizations facing issues within the region. We aim not only to provide mere financial assistance, but also to build a network with civic activity groups sharing the same philosophy, thereby contributing to social transformation.
