美國奧斯卡金像獎認證、亞洲最大規模的國際短片電影節「短片電影節 & 亞洲」（簡稱：SSFF & ASIA）正招募來自廣播電台 J-WAVE 的 100 名聽眾擔任評審員，以選拔出「J-WAVE 聲音電影獎」的獲獎作品。此獎項將頒發給在短片作品中，音樂、歌唱、聲音、音效、樂器等「聲音」元素扮演著獨特且有效角色的電影。

此計畫讓 J-WAVE 的聽眾能夠從 SSFF & ASIA 2026 參賽作品中，挑選出在音樂、歌唱、聲音、音效、樂器等方面展現獨特且有效聲音運用技巧的短片作品，並由聽眾評審員來評選出獲獎作品。在獲選的聽眾評審員中，將有 10 名透過抽籤方式，獲邀參加於 5 月 25 日（星期一）在剛開幕的 TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY 舉行的 SSFF & ASIA 2026 開幕典禮，並可在現場享受頒獎舞台。

What is the J-WAVE SOUND OF CINEMA Award?
The J-WAVE SOUND OF CINEMA Award is presented to short film works where sound elements like music, singing, voice, sound effects, and musical instruments play a unique and effective role. Listener jurors will help select the award recipients.
Who can apply to be a listener juror?
Radio listeners who love short films, are interested in the sound of movies, or aspire to be a juror at an international film festival are encouraged to apply.
How will the judging be conducted?
Selected candidates will watch nominated short films online and submit their evaluations through a web-based system.
What are the benefits of being selected as a listener juror?
Selected jurors will have the opportunity to evaluate short films for the award. Additionally, 10 jurors will be randomly chosen to receive an invitation to the SSFF & ASIA 2026 Opening Ceremony.
