Pacific Meta Acquires Komlock lab as a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary

Pacific Meta (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shota Iwasaki; hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce the full acquisition of Komlock lab (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Masato Nunome; hereinafter "Komlock lab"), which operates in the blockchain and AI agent sector.

Through this acquisition, the Pacific Meta Group will integrate Komlock lab’s technical expertise in blockchain development and AI agents to strengthen research and business development capabilities aimed at implementing an economic zone where AI agents autonomously perform contracts, payments, and value exchanges.

### Background and Purpose of the Acquisition
Since its inception, the Company has focused on the future where blockchain acts as the foundation for finance and industry, providing business development and solution services to companies both domestically and internationally. Following the rapid evolution of AI, the Company is now advancing an AI x Blockchain strategy that anticipates an era where AI agents handle judgment, contracts, payments, and asset management.

For AI agents to participate in economic activities, an infrastructure that allows AI to exchange value and make payments safely and transparently is essential. Stablecoins, smart contracts, and on-chain asset management are technologies that can serve as this foundation.

However, socially implementing autonomous payments and value exchanges by AI agents requires comprehensive capabilities spanning blockchain development, payment design, security, and business conceptualization.

Komlock lab is a team that originated from the enterprise division of CryptoGames and has been conducting technical verification in the fields of blockchain development and AI agents. By combining the Company's business development capabilities and global network with Komlock lab’s technology and vision, we determined that we could concretely advance the social implementation of the AI x Blockchain sector.

With this acquisition, the Pacific Meta Group will accelerate research and development, as well as business implementation, toward a world where AI agents autonomously conduct contracts, payments, and value exchanges.

With Komlock lab joining the group, the Pacific Meta Group will further strengthen its R&D and business development capabilities in the AI x Blockchain field.
