Floral Event Featuring Five Areas with Different Day and Night Expressions: 'Otemachi One Minamo Hana-akari' Colors Early Summer in Otemachi with Floating Flowers and Soft Lights

Otemachi One, a complex directly connected to Otemachi Station, regularly hosts 'Otemachi One ART BREAK,' an initiative providing spaces to relax through 'nature and art.' This time, the facility will hold 'Otemachi One Minamo Hana-akari,' a fantastic spatial performance event featuring flowers and light, produced by florist Yasutaka Ochi, from June 8 (Mon) to July 31 (Fri), 2026.

Inspired by the custom of floating seasonal flowers like hydrangeas in temple water basins to add a refreshing atmosphere, 'Otemachi One Minamo Hana-akari' is a spatial performance event set in the open space of Otemachi One GARDEN, where water and greenery spread out, weaving together colorful flowers floating on the water surface and soft lights. The flowers floating on the water are vividly colored in natural light during the day and change into a fantastic expression through lighting at night. One of the attractions is being able to enjoy different beauty depending on the time of day. In 'Otemachi One Minamo Hana-akari,' a theme flower is set for each of the five areas, and unique works with different colors, shapes, and light performances are developed for each area.

The spatial production of 'Otemachi One Minamo Hana-akari' is handled by Yasutaka Ochi, a florist who is currently attracting attention and serves as the owner of the flower shop 'DILIGENCE PARLOUR' in Omotesando, Tokyo. Yasutaka Ochi, who is responsible for the next generation of flower design, such as spatial decoration for luxury brands and galleries, and serials in magazines, creates a special moment where flowers and light flicker in the city office district, delivering seasonal colors and a relaxing landscape.

Furthermore, on June 30 (Tue) during the period, a workshop will be held where you can make original flower arrangements, inviting Yasutaka Ochi as a lecturer.
