Osaka Sealing Printing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tennoji-ku, Osaka; President: Tadashi Matsuguchi), a core company of the OSP Group that provides one-stop manufacturing of seals/labels, film products, paper packaging, and promotional tools, will exhibit at the 'FOOMA JAPAN 2026' organized by the Japan Food Machinery Manufacturers' Association, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight for four days from Tuesday, June 2 to Friday, June 5, 2026 (Booth No.: West 4 Hall W4-37-08).
Osaka Sealing Printing boasts approximately 34% (*) market share in Japan's food sector for seals and labels and offers various packaging products (*according to Label Shimbun / Japan's Label Market 2026). At this exhibition, one of the world's largest comprehensive food manufacturing exhibitions, we will showcase products and labeling systems that solve problems in food manufacturing sites, such as labor shortages, and seals/labels that enhance product appeal. We will also propose new environmentally friendly products, which we have been strengthening development on, including 'Treeloop Thermal™' and 'Paperpack® Thermal Band'.
Exhibited Products: Introduction of New Products
* 'Treeloop Thermal™'
This is a thermal paper where part of the color developer, which uses petroleum-derived raw materials, has been replaced with a color developer using kraft lignin. Kraft lignin is a component contained in black liquor (blackish-brown waste liquid) generated when pulp is extracted from wood. By utilizing waste liquid as a raw material, we achieve upcycling and further reduce the use of petroleum-derived color developers, thereby reducing environmental impact.
* Paperpack® Thermal Band
This is a paper-based bundling thermal band, a series product of 'Paperpack®', a packaging material that has heat-sealing properties without using plastic film. This product has a thermal layer coated on its surface, allowing for direct thermal printing. There are two types of base materials: white and light brown using 'Treeloop Thermal™'. Both are environmentally friendly products using FSC® certified forest paper. FSC®-C008315
Exhibited Products: Introduction of New Products
* 'Tomepita™'
This is a display label attached to product packaging, part of which can be torn off and used as a resealing sticker for opened products. It has perforations, so it can be easily torn off by hand without using scissors. The torn-off sticker can be used to reseal bags (containers) of food or daily necessities after opening, when they cannot be eaten or used up completely.
Reference Exhibited Products
* Writable/Printable Adhesive Thermal Register Roll
This product is for quick-service restaurants, allowing direct thermal printing, writing, and printing. We have developed an overcoat layer that combines conflicting properties: easy peel-off release properties and suitability for writing/printing. In addition, a re-peelable adhesive is used that matches the release properties of the overcoat, allowing for clean application and removal from the adherend.
* Monomaterial Label
Acrylic and rubber resins are widely used as materials for label adhesives. When recycling PET containers with labels using these adhesives, there is a challenge of separating the adhesive. To solve this and improve recyclability, we have developed a film label using a polyester-based adhesive made of the same material as PET containers.
Exhibited Products: Smartphone-Readable Labels
* NFC Tag
This is a next-generation label with an NFC tag that allows instant access to product information and brand story URLs by simply holding a smartphone over it. It can be adopted in a wide range of categories, including beverage labels, cosmetic boxes, acrylic stands, and keychains for fan merchandise, contributing to enhancing the added value of products.
Exhibited Products: Problem-Solving Products
* Chillpita®
This label can be applied to chilled products prone to condensation. It is suitable for application to chilled products that are temperature-controlled at 0℃ to 10℃ from manufacturing to sales. A series utilizing a Japanese aesthetic is also available.
* Chillpita® Thermal Label
This is a series product of 'Chillpita®', suitable for application to chilled products. It was developed because thermal labels are often used for chilled products.
Exhibited Products: Environmentally Friendly Products
* Paperpack®
This is a paper-based packaging material that has heat-sealing properties for fusion without using plastic film, and is resistant to water and oil.
* Palm YashiX® Label
This label uses 'Palm YashiX®', a paper manufactured by pulping 'palm fronds' remaining after extracting palm oil from palm fruits and blending it into the raw material.
* 'Palm YashiX®' is a paper developed by Crown Package Co., Ltd.
