(HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo; CEO: Hirokazu Sugiyama), which provides the community-owned platform 'OSIRO', will launch the second installment of its well-received art history course, held last year at 'Bijutsu Henshubu.' **The instructor is art journalist Erimi Fujiwara. Ms. Fujiwara, who also teaches at a university, teams up with Mr. Suzuki for a 5-part program to savor art history.**

**This time, under the theme of 'the body,' the course will deeply explore the transition of physical expression over five sessions, from the ideal beauty sought in ancient Greece, through the silence of the Middle Ages, to the fluctuations of the body in our contemporary digital age.**

■ A 5-Month Course to Unravel 'the Body' with the Art Journalist Who Created 'BRUTUS' Magazine's Art Features

Last year, 'Bijutsu Henshubu.' held an art history course as a new initiative. Following positive feedback such as, 'I was taught carefully about Christianity and Western art history, which I never had the chance to learn before, and it has increased my enjoyment of visiting museums both in Japan and abroad,' we have decided to launch a second installment.

Continuing from last time, the instructors will be art journalists Erimi Fujiwara and Yoshio Suzuki. They will deliver the essence of art history without omission. Both were the masterminds behind the particularly popular 'Art Features' in 'BRUTUS' magazine, and have been responsible for numerous acclaimed art features, including 'Yoshitomo Nara and Takashi Murakami are a global language!', which are still highly regarded by art lovers today.

Ms. Fujiwara, who now teaches at a university alongside her work as an art journalist, will team up with Mr. Suzuki again for this course, delivering a lecture that fuses deep insight with extensive journalistic experience.

It will be easy to understand, yet provide eye-opening insights that will change your 'view' of art history. We offer such a learning experience.

The Spirit, Society, and Era. The Shifting Gaze upon the 'Body'

Our 'body' has always been at the center of expression. However, the standard of 'beauty' is by no means universal. It is deeply connected to the spirituality and social structure of each era, constantly changing its form of expression.

From the ideal harmony sought by ancient Greece, the silence imposed on the body in the Middle Ages, and the individual's physique discovered in the modern era. As we unravel each depicted body, we find the people of that time.
