The Women's Division of the Osaka Real Estate Association (Location: Chuo-ku, Osaka; Chairman: Kiyotaka Yamamoto, hereinafter referred to as Osaka Takken) will hold a hands-on money seminar for elementary school students grades 1-4 and their guardians, titled "Takucchi's Parent-Child Money Quest: The Great Adventure of Money's Beginning ~Aim to be a Barter Master!~" as a community contribution event on August 10, 2026 (Mon) at the Osaka Takken Hall.

This event is a story-based workshop that progresses with the association's image character "Takucchi," set in a past village where "money" did not yet exist. Under the challenge of building a house without money, participants will take on a mission to gather house materials through bartering. Children who collect all the materials will receive a "House Ownership Certificate" from Takucchi.

This one-day-only event, which can also serve as a summer vacation free study project, allows children to enjoyably unravel the "secrets of money" and understand why ancient people created it through the challenge of "house building" in a game-like format.

[Why Convey the "History of Money" to Children Now?]

With the rapid spread of cashless payments and digital currencies, "money" has transformed into an invisible and highly convenient tool for modern children. However, opportunities to realistically feel the original value of money, its origins, and its connection to society and housing are decreasing.

Osaka Takken, with its slogan "Connecting People and Homes with Smiles," believes that providing opportunities for local children to develop sound financial sense and learn about societal mechanisms will lead to the creation of a prosperous future for Osaka.
