April 18: Simultaneous Blood Donation & Bone Marrow Bank Donor Registration Promotion Events Held at 7 Locations in Osaka Prefecture

The Aohato Kai, composed of young members of the Osaka Real Estate Association (Location: Chuo-ku, Osaka; Chairman: Kiyotaka Yamamoto, hereinafter referred to as "Osaka Takken"), will conduct blood donation and bone marrow bank donor registration promotion activities at 7 locations within Osaka Prefecture on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Mr. Atsushi Katahira, who serves as the Blood Donation Promotion Ambassador and is also a weather forecaster, will once again provide cooperation for announcements and other aspects of the event.

[The shelf life of blood products is short, only 6 days after collection. The necessity of continuous promotion activities.]

Even with today's advanced medical technology, it is impossible to artificially create blood. Furthermore, blood cannot be stored for long periods (the shelf life of platelet products is 6 days after collection, and red blood cell products are 28 days after collection), making it necessary to continuously secure new blood supplies.

Osaka Takken, which contributes to the healthy lives of local residents through its real estate business and engages in social contribution activities in cooperation with various administrative bodies and companies, has been continuing large-scale blood donation and bone marrow bank donor registration promotion activities in Osaka Prefecture since 2023 as part of its initiatives.

With a cumulative total of 1,289 blood donors so far, the aim is to reach a cumulative total of 1,700 participants through this event.

*Bone marrow bank donor registration will be conducted at the blood donation bus venues, excluding the Umeda HEP FIVE location.
