The Osaka Prefectural Housing Corporation (Head office: Chuo Ward, Osaka City; President: Ryuichi Yoshimoto; hereinafter "the Corporation"), which provides public rental housing SMALIO in Osaka Prefecture, has formulated and announced its 2026 business plan today.

The Corporation will proceed with the effective utilization and diversification of use of its public rental housing stock, as well as redevelopment projects. Simultaneously, it will work to enhance residential support and promote DX (Digital Transformation), thereby advancing housing and community development that responds to social challenges such as population decline and an aging society with a low birthrate.

The business environment is expected to remain severe, with soaring construction and repair costs, rising interest rates, and the progression of an aging society with a low birthrate. However, as an organization that jointly promotes Osaka Prefecture's housing policies, the Corporation will fulfill its role as a safety net by promoting fair housing and supplying affordable, high-quality housing at reasonable prices, while also aiming to establish a sustainable and stable management foundation.

Furthermore, this fiscal year marks the halfway point of the Mid-Term Management Plan (FY2022-FY2031) and the Stock Utilization Plan. Therefore, an interim review will be conducted based on the progress of initiatives to date and changes in the social environment.
