[Kurobe/Unazuki Onsen Yamanoha] Introducing Scents for All Seasons with Fragrances Using Toyama-Prefecture Grown Perilla to Enhance the Atmosphere

Kurobe/Unazuki Onsen Yamanoha (Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture, General Manager: Takashi Kikuchi, hereinafter "Yamanoha") has partnered with HERBAL8 (hereinafter "HERBAL8"), a company engaged in fragrance blending in Toyama Prefecture, to launch spatial ambiance creation using a fragrance blended specifically for Yamanoha, utilizing perilla grown in Toyama Prefecture.

As part of its spatial ambiance initiatives, the hotel rotates seasonal fragrances. The newly introduced fragrance, "Happy Walker," is a blend created for Yamanoha using Japanese herbs such as perilla and Japanese mint, cultivated on HERBAL8's own farm. Through scents derived from local ingredients, it enhances the guests' in-stay experience. The fragrance is introduced at the entrance to the large public bath, and can also be purchased at the hotel's souvenir shop.

Through such initiatives, by providing personalized spatial ambiance and tailor-made hospitality, we aim to deliver "the most enriching time in the region" to our guests.

About the fragrance "Happy Walker"

The newly introduced fragrance "Happy Walker," blended for Yamanoha, combines the sweet and powdery scent of tonka beans, evoking the arrival of spring, with the refreshing impression of Japanese herbs like perilla.

This fragrance-based spatial ambiance is implemented at the entrance to the hotel's large public bath. Additionally, a fragrance mist (10ml size) will be sold as a Yamanoha-exclusive product at the souvenir shop "Kaisen-donya Denshichi."

Including this scent, multiple fragrances will be rotated according to the season.

HERBAL8 was established in May 2021 and is based in Toyama Prefecture, where it plans and develops fragrance-based spatial experiences. Utilizing plants such as perilla cultivated on its own farm as ingredients, the company handles everything from scent blending and spatial design to product development.
