Hotel Universal Port Vita to Host "Children's Cafeteria" on Saturday, April 18

Hotel Universal Port and Hotel Universal Port Vita (Location: Konohana Ward, Osaka City; General Manager: Motoe Katsushima), official hotels of Universal Studios Japan, will host a "Children's Cafeteria" on Saturday, April 18, 2026, inviting 40 elementary school students who attend a children's cafeteria in Nishikujo, Konohana Ward, as part of their contribution to the local community. Hotel Universal Port and Hotel Universal Port Vita, registered as career education facilities in Konohana Ward, have previously offered career experiences and lectures annually to junior high school students in the region, aiming to provide them with exposure to future career options and deepen their understanding of the work of hoteliers. Focusing on the district's priority of "improving the child-rearing environment," they held a contest last year to devise restaurant menus in commemoration of Hotel Universal Port's 20th anniversary. The positive reception from participating students of Nishikujo Elementary School led to this current initiative, where elementary school students are again the target, to familiarize them with hotels and hotel work, and to experience the "joy of food" through a meal, by planning a children's cafeteria at the hotel.

## Children's Cafeteria Overview

40 elementary school students attending a children's cafeteria in Nishikujo will be invited for a hotel tour of Hotel Universal Port Vita. They will also participate in a mixed juice making experience, which is offered at the hotel's breakfast buffet. After the experience, they will enjoy a mini buffet, experiencing the "joy of food" and interacting with hotel crew.
