OriginalSelf LLC endorses April Dream, a project that aims to make April 1st a day for companies to announce their dreams. This press release is the dream of OriginalSelf LLC.

■ Meaning Behind the Company Name
OriginalSelf means "one's true self." When I established the company in March 2024, I chose this name because I wanted to prove for myself whether I could manage a business while staying true to my original self.

To be honest, I haven't yet found the answer to the question, "What is my true self?" I am actively searching for it as I work. What lies beyond clearing the current challenges? I am moving forward with that question in mind.

■ Articles of Incorporation: A Map of Dreams
When establishing a company, business objectives are written in the articles of incorporation. I wrote them broadly, thinking, "I might use them in the future." But rereading them, I realized they weren't just a safety net; they reflected my initial feeling of "always wanting to be free and abundant."

Management consulting, AI/software support, human resource recruitment/development—these are the pillars of the business.

However, the articles of incorporation also include M&A support, advertising agency, school management, production and sale of paintings and watercolors, and mail-order sales of items like bath salts.

There are even things not fully written in the articles of incorporation. I've thought about operating a co-working space. There are also scribbled notes like, "Let's try doing what I want first, then think about it." It doesn't have to be groundbreaking. I just do it because I want to. For some reason, those things always excited me the most.

I can't do everything right now. But my dreams live on somewhere, like a map.

■ Starting Point: The Feeling of Being Useful
Because I have managed the company while valuing the feeling of "being useful to someone and connected to society," I can ask the same question to my clients: "What do you truly want to do?" Exploring that question together is at the core of my work.

I have supported the management of over 40 small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide. The areas span multiple fields, including AI implementation, web production, recruitment strategies, and sales support. What they all have in common is an interest in "drawing out the inherent strengths of that person."

Why do I act as a "right-hand man"? The answer is simple. Not to deny, but to affirm. There are moments when people's expressions instantly brighten just by doing that—I love those moments.

■ Our Dream
We will create a "place where talents can be brought together."

I cannot do everything by myself. I want to create a system where people who are good at AI and operational improvement, or those knowledgeable about recruitment—each bringing their "OriginalSelf" (inherent strengths)—can work together to address the challenges of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Moving forward steadily, together, starting from what we can do. Creating a place where we can grow together, leveraging each other's strengths. That is the dream we are currently pursuing.

■ My Dream: My Father's Colors and the Moon
My father has always painted. He was also a former business owner, but when I was a student, I knew nothing about business. After entering society and becoming a business owner myself, I felt I finally understood a little of what his back meant.

One day, I heard my father painted a watercolor as a gift for an acquaintance. I put it on a website and set a price. That was the trigger. When I sold the business through M&A, I kept the watercolor production. I wanted to carry my father's feelings with me.

My father is currently recuperating after surgery. On the day he recovers, I want to launch a watercolor collaboration apparel brand using his paintings as brand marks. High-quality T-shirts that won't fade no matter how many times they are washed, featuring many icons from my father's watercolors. I want to deliver my father's colors to the world, not as one-of-a-kind paintings, but in a form that blends into everyday life.

Actually, I once made a T-shirt with a gorilla painting by my father.

It was a small attempt, but it is the origin of this dream. If possible, I would like to gather people through crowdfunding to launch it together.

Colors reach places that words cannot.

And one more personal dream. I bought a dream. It's a certificate for land on the moon. Someday, I want to stand there myself—that is my most absurd and most honest dream.
