NPO Origami Launches 'Welfare × Student Connecting Career Bulletin Board'

NPO Origami (Location: 7-11-10 Tsudanuma, Narashino City, Chiba Prefecture; Chairman: Norihiko Tsuzuki) has launched the 'Welfare × Student Connecting Career Bulletin Board' to connect young people interested in welfare with welfare organizations.

This bulletin board is an initiative to disseminate the thoughts, job openings, volunteer opportunities, and internship information of welfare organizations and offices to students and young people who have developed an interest in welfare through the 'Para-Tabi Support Group (hereafter 'Para-Tabi')', an exchange-based outing program for people with disabilities.

The year is divided into four periods, and the board connects young people with welfare organizations in conjunction with the Para-Tabi events held each period.

A bulletin board that starts the connection with young people from 'support', not 'recruitment'

The characteristic of this bulletin board lies in its viewership. Unlike general job boards, it does not primarily target the general public. It is mainly viewed by 418 past participants of Para-Tabi and newly participating student volunteers. The students who participate in Para-Tabi are not all initially interested in employment in the welfare field. They are young people who think, 'Welfare might be interesting' or 'I want to first learn about the field.' This bulletin board serves as a PR platform for 'welfare organizations that support us by conveying the appeal of welfare' to such young people.

The bulletin board features not just job information, but also volunteer information, the values of the organizations, and messages of support for young people. It conveys the appeal and warmth of welfare to young people, showing them that 'there are many adults and workplaces that support your growth.'

Furthermore, during the October to December 2025 period, the Para-Tabi Support Group website recorded 3,550 page views, demonstrating its use as a place to create connections between young people interested in welfare and volunteering and welfare organizations.

Creating real encounters in conjunction with Para-Tabi Day

This period is also linked with 'Para-Tabi Day ~ Narita Yume Farm Special Edition ~' scheduled for June 28, 2026.

This bulletin board will be introduced within this exchange event, which gathers approximately 100 participants, primarily people with severe disabilities, and young volunteers.

Organizations listed on the bulletin board will have the opportunity to promote themselves to young people at the event, and up to seven organizations can actually participate in the event.

Delivering the appeal of welfare as 'someone's life experience'

In recent years, while labor shortages have become a major challenge in the welfare industry, there are also many voices from young people saying, 'I am interested in welfare, but I have few opportunities to learn about the field.'

Therefore, rather than focusing solely on recruitment, the emphasis is on creating opportunities for young people to experience the welfare field and think about their own future and way of life, involving various welfare organizations.

Going forward, we will continue to support the 'first step' into welfare by creating opportunities for interaction between people with disabilities and young people.
