CROSS POINT NAKASUKAWABATA at Hotel Oriental Express Fukuoka Nakasu-Kawabata (Location: 6-26 Tenya-machi, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City) will begin new cafe time operations from Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Following the renovation of the breakfast buffet in January of this year and the launch of lunch and bar time operations in February, cafe time will be introduced as a new service period. A large number of our hotel guests are international travelers, and there is growing interest in Japanese culture and unique regional food experiences. Therefore, we have prepared a cafe menu featuring Kyushu's representative "Yame Matcha" and "Kagoshima Matcha." We will convey the unique charm of Kyushu through matcha sweets and drinks. Furthermore, we will adopt a service style where staff whisk matcha in front of customers for each order, offering a cafe time where guests can experience not only the taste but also Japanese tea culture itself.

The highlight of this product is the set that allows you to freely combine your preferred matcha and Japanese sweets. You can choose from two types of matcha: "Yame Matcha," characterized by its rich umami and elegant sweetness, and "Kagoshima Matcha," with its refreshing aroma and clean aftertaste. Staff will carefully whisk each cup to order and serve it in front of the customer. You can enjoy Japanese tea culture with all five senses, including the rising aroma and beautiful foam. For Japanese sweets, choose your favorite from "Ice Monaka," "Mitarashi Dango," and "Dorayaki" to enjoy the pairing with matcha. This set is recommended for both domestic and international guests, as it allows them to experience not only the taste but also the act of whisking matcha.
