Restaurant AVANTI at International Garden Hotel Narita (General Manager: Ikuya Kubo; Narita City, Chiba) will offer a 'Japanese-style Afternoon Tea' exclusively on weekdays from Thursday, May 7, 2026, to Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
This plan features a total of 12 items, including sweets that combine Japanese ingredients such as matcha, black sesame, and brown sugar with early summer citrus like Amanatsu and Shiranui, alongside Italian savories. Instead of a traditional three-tier stand, the tea is served in a light style using flat plates and Japanese vessels. Guests can enjoy this experience at a reasonable price of 3,500 yen per person.
The sweets are organized into three themes: 'Matcha no Shirabe' (Melody of Matcha), 'Hatsunatsu no Kajitsu' (Fruits of Early Summer), and 'Wa no Amami' (Japanese Sweets), with all nine varieties beautifully arranged on a single plate. Guests can enjoy the Japanese colors and delicate flavors.
The three types of savories are based on Italian cuisine, crafted to harmonize with the Japanese sweets and provide a delightful contrast in flavor.
For drinks, guests can freely choose from approximately 30 types of beverages, including black tea, herbal tea, and coffee, in a self-service style. Please enjoy a relaxing tea time in our calm atmosphere.
### Themes: - **Matcha no Shirabe**: A collection of matcha-based desserts. - **Hatsunatsu no Kajitsu**: Featuring fresh citrus like Amanatsu and Shiranui. - **Wa no Amami**: Traditional Japanese sweets reimagined.
