[March 30, 2026] The Terrace Restaurant at Hilton Narita (Narita City, Chiba; General Manager: Hisao Shinozuka) will hold the 'VIVA★Western Buffet★Melon & Mango Sweets Fair' from Wednesday, April 29 (Holiday) to Tuesday, June 30, 2026, offering nostalgic Western-style dishes alongside sweets made with ripe melons and mangoes.
The theme of this fair is 'Western Cuisine for Adults,' adding modern sensibilities to the Western dishes we loved in our childhood. We will serve somewhat nostalgic yet novel flavors buffet-style.
For the dinner buffet, we have prepared limited menus that vary by period. From April 29 to May 6, as a Golden Week special, we will offer 'All-You-Can-Eat Snow Crab'. From May 7 onward, a 'Jumbo Fried Shrimp', boldly sizing up a classic nostalgic Western dish, will make its appearance. Please enjoy this impressive dish that almost overflows from the plate, served with homemade Aurora sauce.
At the live kitchen, 'Kyushu Kuroge Wagyu Roast Beef' will be carved right in front of you. You can enjoy the delicate umami unique to Wagyu beef with your favorite sauces and condiments.
The menu also features familiar flavors presented in different expressions, such as 'Corn Crème Brûlée', a chilled corn potage turned into a brûlée, and 'Classic Potato Salad Espuma', finished with a light, airy texture.
Dishes that highlight the appeal of their ingredients include the 'Steamed Pudding-style Mushroom Soup Cappuccino', featuring delicate foam over a rich mushroom soup; 'Chicken Nanban' using 11 different spices; and the moistly prepared 'Pork Tenderloin, Nut, and Mushroom Terrine'. The 'Murcian-style Macaroni Tuna Salad' is based on a recipe from the Murcia region of Spain, finished with a pleasant acidity and the aroma of herbs.
For dessert, an array of sweets incorporating seasonal melons and mangoes will be lined up. The buffet table will be colored by refreshing 'Melon Rare Cheesecake', a three-layered 'Melon Bavarois' layered with crumble and whipped cream, 'Pudding à la Mode' topped with melon, as well as 'Mango French Toast' soaked in Hokkaido milk and 'Mango Meringue Pie'.
Furthermore, as an option available during all time slots, we offer a 'Special All-You-Can-Eat Hokota, Ibaraki Melon Plan'. You can enjoy fully ripened melons from the Asahi district of Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture—which boasts the highest melon production volume in Japan—to your heart's content, alongside ice cream and various toppings.
