In April 2026, OREC Corporation (Headquarters: Hirokawa Town, Yame District, Fukuoka Prefecture) will release the sloping land mower series "Spider Mower SP753B". This product is a new addition to the Spider Mower series and is equipped with a 2-stroke Willbe engine. Furthermore, the adoption of a travel brake has reduced the braking distance during mowing (compared to SP853A). With a displacement of 70cc and a maximum travel speed of 2.6 km/h, it achieves powerful grass cutting. The spike wheels dig into the ground, and the 4-wheel drive allows for comfortable mowing on slopes.

Development Background Mowing on slopes can lead to unstable posture, and in mountainous and hilly areas with many steep slopes, there are challenges in terms of physical burden and safety assurance. Against this backdrop, OREC developed the self-propelled sloping land mower "Spider Mower" with the aim of making mowing easier and safer. With the Spider Mower, the operator can mow slopes while remaining in a safe, flat position by extending the handle. In response to customer requests, the "SP753B" has been developed with improved work efficiency and a newly equipped 2-stroke engine.
