Otsuya Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture, 30th generation head Otsuya Magozaemon) opened an unmanned self-checkout store "Orange BOX Mitani Sangyo Kanazawa Head Office Store" at the headquarters of Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture) on March 31, 2026.

This opening marks our company's first store expansion into Ishikawa Prefecture.

Founded in 1573, Otsuya has operated community-based convenience stores such as "Orange BOX" primarily in Fukui Prefecture. In recent years, we have been promoting the development of small store models linked with facilities, such as in-company stores and stores within accommodation facilities.

This opening at Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd. is our first expansion into Ishikawa Prefecture, and it marks the first step in opening up new markets in the Hokuriku area.

This store adopts an unmanned self-checkout system, creating an environment where employees can easily use it during their work breaks.
