Building on the clinic's long-held stance of 'prescribing connections over medicine,' this change aims to more clearly embody the concept of 'Positive Health'—which views health not just by the absence of disease but also includes a person's lifestyle, purpose in life, and relationship with the community—in both name and practice.

Background of the Name Change: Beyond Medicine that Values 'Connections'

Tsunagaru Clinic opened in 2016, connecting medicine with patients' lives, families, futures, and the community. Under the motto 'Living with the community,' it has provided a wide range of medical services, including general internal medicine, pediatrics, home visit medical care, health check-ups, vaccinations, and general consultations. The entire Orange Medical Corporation develops businesses related to medical care, welfare, and living, starting from home medical care.

Meanwhile, the environment surrounding community and home visit medical care is changing significantly. Japan's aging rate has reached 29.3%, and Fukui Prefecture's is 31.8%.
