Oracle and Oracle NetSuite today announced “Oracle NetSuite Restaurant Operations.” Built on NetSuite’s AI-powered business systems, Restaurant Operations is designed to help restaurants improve operational efficiency and profitability by unifying and simplifying critical back-office functions. Restaurant Operations helps support growth and innovation by integrating inventory, procurement, scheduling, production, and cash management data into a single, AI-enhanced platform. The platform provides real-time visibility, actionable insights, and scalable workflows.

“Restaurant and hospitality leaders are under pressure to drive operational efficiency and do more with less while delivering exceptional customer experiences,” said Alex Alt, executive vice president and general manager, Oracle Commercial Cloud Applications. “Restaurant Operations brings industry-specific deep expertise together with advanced technology and data management into a unified platform with AI-enhanced workflows. With these AI-powered capabilities, restaurant and hospitality leaders can optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and innovate faster across Oracle Simphony Cloud and multi-POS environments.”

Built on hospitality and restaurant industry financial best practices developed by Oracle and NetSuite for over 25 years, Restaurant Operations provides flexible and scalable capabilities for restaurants of all sizes—from single-unit startups to global franchises. Oracle Simphony Cloud customers can leverage more advanced ingredient and inventory management tools through an enhanced user interface, while embedded AI toolsets for repetitive tasks can help improve operational accuracy, speed, and employee productivity. Additionally, AI-driven analytics help customers improve decision-making by providing unique insights and recommendations needed to identify and predict trends in areas such as inventory management.

To help customers further streamline data and increase efficiency across their business, Restaurant Operations integrates back-office operations by aggregating data from Oracle Simphony Cloud and other POS systems. With a consolidated view of key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and reporting, hospitality and restaurant operators get a single source of truth to help drive profitability.

“Restaurants have traditionally operated with multiple point systems to manage inventory, purchasing, financials, and other critical processes,” said Brian Chess, senior vice president, AI and product and technology, Oracle NetSuite. “Restaurant Operations brings together the power of Oracle and NetSuite in a unified solution to help automate routine tasks by embedding AI into entire workflows and providing visibility into operational trends. By connecting operational and financial data in one system, businesses can gain real-time visibility into performance across locations, reduce complexity, and make faster, better-informed decisions.”
