Oracle today announced Fusion Agentic Applications for Human Resources, a new category of agent-based applications realized by teams of multiple specialized AI agents working together. These AI agents are built to be outcome-oriented, capable of autonomous reasoning and judgment, and designed for enterprise use. Embedded within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, these HR-focused Agentic Applications can make decisions and take actions within business processes while securely accessing integrated enterprise data, workflows, policies, approval hierarchies, permissions, and transactional contexts.
Chris Leone, executive vice president of applications development at Oracle, said: 'HR leaders and managers are required to improve employee experience, accelerate decision-making, and support compliance efforts while dealing with more complex policies with smaller teams. These challenges become extremely difficult when too much time is spent chasing updates, reconciling disconnected signals, and working across multiple systems. Oracle's new Fusion Agentic Applications can reason and act toward defined goals. This allows HR leaders and managers to move from manual coordination to proactive execution, reimagining critical processes such as scheduling, career development, and employee support.'
New Fusion Agentic Applications run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and leverage industry-leading LLMs to extend the world's most comprehensive cloud application suite. This enables HR leaders and managers to significantly improve business outcomes beyond simple task support. By operating within the existing Oracle Fusion Applications security framework, they autonomously advance routine operations within defined operational constraints while providing visibility into exceptions, trade-offs, and decisions where human judgment is critical.
Currently, the following eight Fusion Agentic Applications are available in Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM):
Career Development Command Center: Helps HR leaders drive career mobility, connect employees to open roles, and engage them in continuous events and communications. This transforms ad-hoc career development into strategic, guided advancement.
Contract Compliance Workspace: Assists HR leaders in automating contract execution, semantic analysis of contract agreements, identifying contextually suggested next steps, and improving progress toward defined goals. This turns fragmented contract management into consistent, scalable execution.
Retail Manager Hiring Workspace: Helps retail store managers accelerate hiring and reduce administrative work across the recruitment process. This advances tedious manual coordination into streamlined, efficient talent acquisition.
Manager Concierge Workspace: Supports managers in making smarter decisions about their teams, prioritizing items requiring attention, and performing one-click actions backed by policy across compensation, performance, talent development, and leaves of absence. This moves unintegrated manager tasks into more focused and confident team management.
Employee My Help Workspace: Helps employees solve issues faster and stay on top of matters requiring attention by providing a single place to track requests and follow-ups, view items awaiting action, and access and update knowledge articles. This replaces employee support for tracking tickets with rapid self-service resolution.
