Our company supports April Dream, an initiative to make April 1st a day for sharing dreams. This press release is the dream of Optima Solutions Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Koji Naka), which has 21 years of experience and a track record of supporting over 3,500 information security cases since its founding.
Our Dream
Our dream is to create a company and society where people can work with peace of mind, without being troubled by cyberattacks.
As threats like ransomware and unauthorized access become commonplace, companies are constantly exposed to risks.
From our support experience, we have seen the reality that 'obtaining certification' and 'truly being able to protect' are two different things.
That is why we believe what is needed now is not formalism, but an effective “Serious ISMS.”
The 'Reality' Seen from 3,500 Cases
For the 21 years since our founding, we have supported the establishment of information security systems for over 3,500 companies.
What we have seen in the process is the reality that 'many companies have certification but are not protected.'
What is 'Serious ISMS'?
The 'Serious ISMS' we advocate for is about preparing for attacks as a given and creating a system that actually functions.
To achieve this, we emphasize the following three points:
1. Spreading a culture of 'proper preparation'
Based on the knowledge and know-how cultivated over 21 years since our founding, we will work with our customers to create a 'Serious ISMS' that can firmly protect the company from sophisticated cyberattacks, regardless of certification status.
2. Building a system 'to not panic' together
Even in the unlikely event of an incident, we will help minimize the damage, establish a system where everyone on-site can act calmly, and support the growth into a 'resilient and strong organization.'
3. Protecting the company through 'raising awareness'
We will support the 'raising of awareness' so that each individual in the organization sees information security as their own responsibility and can face their duties with confidence, thereby protecting the company's valuable assets and trust.
21 Years Since Founding. A New Resolve Now.
The environment surrounding the internet has changed dramatically since we started our journey 21 years ago. While technology evolves, malicious attacks never cease.
Leveraging our knowledge and achievements, we aim to realize a society where one can focus on their core business without fear of cyberattacks.
We will not let this dream end as just a dream. Taking the opportunity of April Dream, which makes April 1st a 'day to share dreams,' we will change this society one step at a time, starting today.

Comment from the CEO
It has been 8 years since I first proposed the concept of 'Serious ISMS.' This idea has become a conviction as I've gained more on-site experience. Raising the information security standards of Japanese companies is not just about defense; it also leads to 'offensive management' where companies can take on challenges with peace of mind. I am very pleased to be able to share this thought through the opportunity of April Dream.
