OPERe Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Representative Director: Yuka Sawada, hereinafter OPERe), aiming to be a communication hub for patients and healthcare providers, has begun data integration between the anamnesis and questionnaire function of its patient communication system "PokeSapo" and "Yahgee (Yagii)", a medical document management and operations support solution provided by Fujifilm Medical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Fujifilm Medical"). This integration will utilize Epson's software (DCPSE1) and scanners as document scanning solutions.
This integration will enable the secure import of questionnaire information entered by patients via their LINE app or in-hospital tablets into the hospital's internal system, which operates in an isolated network (on-premises) environment that cannot be externally connected. This data can then be utilized for creating medical documents such as inpatient medical care plans on Yahgee.
Background and Challenges
In the field of admission and discharge support, the manual input and transcription of questionnaire information collected from patients in advance into electronic health records (EHRs) and departmental systems represent a significant burden. On the other hand, many hospital EHRs and document management systems operate in isolated network (on-premises) environments, disconnected from external networks for security reasons, posing a challenge for direct data integration from cloud services.
OPERe has received requests from multiple medical institutions, including hospitals that have implemented Yahgee, to "utilize patient information acquired through PokeSapo directly within Yahgee." Through cooperation with Fujifilm Medical and Epson, this initiative achieves realistic and secure data integration that overcomes the barrier of isolated networks by using paper (printing) and scanning as a "bridge."
Integration Overview and Data Flow
Patient questionnaire responses are imported into Yahgee through the following flow:
Patient/Family Enters Questionnaire: The patient responds to the anamnesis and questionnaire via PokeSapo using their smartphone (LINE) or an in-hospital tablet.
Confirmation of Questionnaire Response: Staff in charge, such as the admission and discharge support center, confirm the response content (PDF) on the PokeSapo management screen.
Print PDF: A PDF (with a large QR code) for import into Yahgee is printed from the management screen.
Scan: The printed PDF is read by an Epson scanner.
XML Transmission: Epson's scanning software (DCPSE1) on a dedicated terminal converts the data into XML format and automatically transmits it to the hospital's internal Yahgee server.
Utilization in Yahgee: Based on the imported questionnaire data, medical documents such as inpatient medical care plans are efficiently created.
By "bridging" the cloud (PokeSapo) and the hospital's internal isolated network (Yahgee) through the physical processes of printing and scanning, data integration is achieved while maintaining security without direct network connection.

Key Benefits of This Integration
Reduced Transcription and Manual Input Burden: Reduces the effort of re-entering information entered by patients, contributing to improved operational efficiency for healthcare professionals.
Early Acquisition of Patient Information (PFM): Acquires patient information before admission, allowing for earlier admission/discharge support and medical document creation.
Deployment Possible in Isolated Network Environments: Integration is possible even for hospitals using on-premises EHR/document management systems.
Minimal Introduction Utilizing Scanners: By leveraging Epson's scanning solution (scanner + DCPSE1), a configuration that is easy for hospitals to implement is achieved without requiring large-scale software modifications.
About Each Product/Service
PokeSapo Anamnesis/Questionnaire (OPERe Inc.)
An anamnesis and questionnaire system that allows patients to respond to questionnaires from their own smartphone (LINE) or an in-hospital tablet. Patients who do not use LINE can also input information via an in-hospital tablet (no LINE registration required), and it can be used in conjunction with paper questionnaires. Response data is centrally managed on a management screen, and can be linked or transcribed to EHRs and departmental systems through various methods such as QR codes, PDFs, and scanning. It also includes a function to support the determination of additional medical fees.

Yahgee (Fujifilm Medical Co., Ltd.)
A medical document management and operations support solution that links with EHRs to database medical documents such as discharge summaries and surgical records, thereby improving the efficiency of their creation, sharing, and analysis. It has been implemented in over 300 medical facilities in Japan.
DCPSE1 (Epson)
A scanner application used in conjunction with Epson scanners. In this integration, it reads the QR code on the questionnaire PDF and is responsible for converting and transmitting it into an XML format that Yahgee can import.
Exhibition Information
This integration is scheduled to be showcased at the following exhibitions:
International Modern Hospital Show 2026: July 8 (Wed) - 10 (Fri), 2026 / Tokyo Big Sight
About OPERe Inc.
With the vision of "Becoming a communication hub for patients and healthcare providers," OPERe provides "PokeSapo," a system that supports digital communication between patients and healthcare providers from a PFM (Patient Flow Management) perspective. It includes patient explanation and anamnesis/questionnaire functions, allowing patients to semi-automatically complete explanations and questionnaires for hospitalization, perioperative care, perinatal care, examinations, health checkups, etc., simply by reading a QR code. Furthermore, the add-on "AI Receptionist" provides 24-hour automatic AI responses to patient inquiries, contributing to the reduction of workload for healthcare providers in phone and counter support.
