(Headquarters: Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director: Keiichi Sakai; hereinafter "Miyoshi Kasetsu Kikai") announce their business partnership and the introduction of 300 electric-assist bicycles to "HELLO CYCLING," Japan's largest bike-sharing service, starting June 2026.
OpenStreet operates the electric-assist bike-sharing service "HELLO CYCLING" across 29 prefectures, with approximately 14,000 stations and a fleet of over 59,000 bicycles. The service is used by around 5.67 million members.
Established in 1978, Miyoshi Kasetsu Kikai is headquartered in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, and specializes in scaffolding construction for residential buildings, condominiums, factories, and other new construction and renovation projects primarily across the Kanto region.
By entering the bike-sharing business, Miyoshi Kasetsu Kikai aims to enhance local convenience and mobility for visitors, and contribute to solving various regional challenges, including environmental initiatives.
OpenStreet and Miyoshi Kasetsu Kikai will continue expanding electric-assist bike-sharing services to support the creation of livable, safe communities and realize sustainable local societies through eco-friendly transportation that produces zero CO2 emissions.
About Using "HELLO CYCLING"
To use the service, users must download the "HELLO CYCLING" app. After free registration, users can easily search for stations, reserve bicycles, and complete payments via the app. Bicycles can be picked up and returned at any station displayed on the app's map nationwide, allowing convenient, on-demand usage.
