OpenStreet Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomoaki Kudo; hereinafter "OpenStreet") announces that it has concluded an agreement (hereinafter, "this agreement") with Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture (Mayor: Rintaro Mori) and Kawanishi City, Hyogo Prefecture (Mayor: Kenjiro Koshida) regarding a demonstration experiment for a share cycle business, and has started the demonstration experiment utilizing "HELLO CYCLING," one of the largest share cycle services in Japan, from April 2026.
OpenStreet, Takarazuka City, and Kawanishi City have commenced this demonstration experiment with the aim of verifying the effectiveness of share cycles as a means of transportation that contributes to regional revitalization, tourism promotion, public transportation use promotion, and the complementation of functions. This initiative explores the potential for a new, easy-to-use, and environmentally friendly mode of transport for citizens. Stations have been set up in public facilities such as city halls, and will be expanded sequentially. "HELLO CYCLING" stations are also installed in neighboring municipalities, allowing movement to other municipalities.

On March 30 (Monday), a joint agreement signing ceremony for this agreement was held at Takarazuka City Hall by OpenStreet, Takarazuka City, and Kawanishi City. During the ceremony, Mayor Mori of Takarazuka City commented, "We want to research the effectiveness and challenges of share cycles, which can be used by people of all ages, in collaboration with OpenStreet, not only as a function to complement/replace public transportation, but also as an initiative contributing to regional revitalization and tourism promotion."
