Kanagawa Prefectural Housing Supply Corporation (Location: Naka-ku, Yokohama City; hereinafter "the Corporation"), OpenStreet Inc. (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo), and Docomo Bike Share, Inc. Background At housing complexes owned by the Corporation that are located far from the nearest train station, improving transit convenience for residents, counteracting abandoned bicycles on the premises, and optimizing the bicycle parking environment have been ongoing challenges.
Meanwhile, OpenStreet Inc. operates "HELLO CYCLING," and Docomo Bike Share, Inc. operates services like "baybike" and "Kawasaki Bike Share." By deploying these share cycle services, they contribute to improving local mobility, reducing environmental impact, and creating sustainable communities.
In FY2023, the Corporation installed a port by OpenStreet Inc. on the premises of Flore Yokohama Mitsuzawa (Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama City), which was well-received by both residents and neighbors. Based on this background, the companies aim to build a highly convenient share cycle environment by leveraging each company's service network and expertise.
