GENSEN HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shunsuke Kawasaki), which operates 75 hot spring hotels, inns, and theme parks nationwide, will renovate "Oedo Onsen Monogatari Mino Kanko Hotel" into "Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Mino Kanko Hotel" and reopen "Oedo Onsen Monogatari Mino Onsen Spa Garden" on October 1, 2026 (Thu). Reservations for stays will begin on July 1, 2026 (Wed). This will be the 28th facility in the Premium series operated by the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group nationwide, and the first in Osaka Prefecture.

Concept: "RELAX & FUN - A hot spring theme park that fuses relaxation and enjoyment -".

This renovation is based on the concept of "RELAX & FUN - A hot spring theme park that fuses relaxation and enjoyment -". Targeting families as the main demographic, we aim to create a facility where three generations, from children to parents and grandparents, can enjoy themselves in their own styles. By relaxing the mind and body in the hot springs, guests can more freely enjoy activities and experiences in a relaxed state. We are evolving into a new hot spring facility where guests can fully enjoy both "relaxation" and "enjoyment."

Inside the facility, in addition to hot springs and relaxation areas, we offer a variety of content, including a kids' park for children and a comic area. We have created a space where both those who want to be active and those who want to relax can spend their time as they please.

As the biggest highlight symbolizing this concept, we will introduce the "Future Human Washing Machine" by SCIENCE CO., LTD., which was a topic of discussion at the 2025 Expo, within Mino Onsen Spa Garden.

This will operate as a private bath, available for a limited number of groups per day with same-day reservations, offering a new bathing experience that fuses the relaxation unique to hot spring facilities with cutting-edge technology. It is expected to attract attention as content that allows visitors to experience the legacy of the Expo alongside their Osaka sightseeing.

"Sky Open-Air Bath" at an altitude of approximately 180m, exclusively for hotel guests

The biggest attraction of Premium Mino Kanko Hotel is the "Sky Open-Air Bath" exclusively for hotel guests, offering panoramic views of the Osaka Plain.

The "Tenku no Tana Yu," featuring tiered bathing shelves, offers views of the Osaka Plain cityscape. The lowest tier has a lying bath, where guests can spend a relaxing time while gazing at the cityscape and sky spreading out below. In the indoor bath, guests can relax their mind and body with the soft, silky hot spring water. A sauna is also available, allowing guests to unwind in the open-air bath overlooking the cityscape after warming up.

After bathing, guests can relax in the newly established "Premium Lounge." Here, they can enjoy draft beer and other alcoholic and soft drinks while admiring the view of the Osaka Plain, savoring the pleasant afterglow.

A new Premium Lounge with panoramic views of the Osaka Plain has been established within the hotel. Guests can enjoy draft beer, various alcoholic beverages, and soft drinks. During the day, guests can admire the expansive cityscape, and at night, the sparkling night view, enjoying a high-quality stay unique to the Premium series.

Luxurious Buffet with a Variety of Kansai Flavors

In the bright and modern restaurant, guests can enjoy a wide variety of dishes in a buffet style. For dinner, we offer Kansai-style dishes such as "Naniwa Nikusui" (meat soup) and "Akashiyaki" (octopus balls), as well as "Kayaku Gohan" (mixed rice), which is counted as one of Japan's five great rice dishes. At the live kitchen, we offer "Sirloin Steak" and "Freshly Fried Tempura," prepared right before your eyes for the freshest taste.

The restaurant offers views of the Mino landscape from its seats, allowing guests to dine in a spacious and open atmosphere. The menu changes seasonally, so guests can discover new flavors with each visit.

This renovation includes the addition of new Japanese-style rooms with Western beds, combining the convenience of beds with the comfort of tatami mats. In addition to Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, we offer a variety of room types to accommodate different travel styles, such as family trips, couples' getaways, and group travel. Some rooms offer panoramic views of the Osaka Plain, allowing guests to enjoy the changing scenery from morning to evening.

A Day-Use Hot Spring Facility for Both Hot Springs and Entertainment

The "Mino Onsen Spa Garden," which is free for hotel guests, will also be renovated.

In addition to the popular "Future Human Washing Machine," a large kids' park for children has been newly established. It is equipped with play equipment suitable for different age groups, making it comfortable for families with young children. Furthermore, a relaxation area for enjoying manga, a silent area perfect for naps, and a picnic area for conversation have been newly added, along with a food court for dining. It is evolving into a stay-type hot spring facility where guests can enjoy various activities beyond just the hot springs.

The Mino area, easily accessible from Osaka city yet surrounded by the rich nature of Meiji no Mori Mino Quasi-National Park, offers a stay where guests can enjoy views of the Osaka Plain, hot springs, and entertainment.

The "Taki Michi" (Waterfall Path) leading from Hankyu Mino Station to Mino Waterfall is a popular hiking course where you can enjoy the seasonal nature. Mino Waterfall, selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls and located about a 20-minute drive from the hotel, offers different charms each season, such as fresh greenery in spring, cool scenery in summer, autumn foliage, and clear winter landscapes. Additionally, "S போக்குyama Zoo," located about a 15-minute drive away, allows free viewing of animals including wombats and is popular with families.
