Onward Holdings Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Michinori Hotomo) will launch upcycled T-shirts designed with "signboards" that symbolize Kichijoji culture on Saturday, March 28th, at "Onward Reuse Park Kichijoji," an environmental concept shop selling our company's used clothing.

Kichijoji is a town where unique stores have gathered and been nurtured. In this context, the scenery of "signboards" reflects the town's history and culture. "Onward Reuse Park Kichijoji" has been rooted in and supported by the community. As a product to express our love for Kichijoji, we have decided to sell upcycled T-shirts.

This store sells used clothing from the Onward brand, collected through the "Onward Green Campaign" which started in 2009. The clothing is inspected 4-5 times in-house before being put up for sale if it meets our sales standards. We always have over 3,000 items of Onward brand used clothing available, offered at charity prices. All proceeds are utilized for our company's sustainability initiatives.
