[Background of Participation]
Amidst concerns about a shortage of science and engineering talent and a declining interest in science among younger generations, our company is participating in this workshop with the aim of contributing to the development of human resources that support Japan's manufacturing industry by conveying the appeal of "manufacturing" and the importance of "measuring."
This is our second year collaborating with the Kanagawa University Minatomirai Extension Center, following last year. Last year, we held a workshop themed "Let's Play with Measuring Instruments! The Fascinating World of Sound That Will Keep You Awake," which was well-received by many participants.
We will continue to value collaboration with local communities and educational institutions, and strive to foster the next generation and contribute to the local community by providing learning opportunities that leverage our "measuring technology."
