The Tomodachiya Picture Book Art Museum, located within the Yacchando Omuda City Zoo in Omuda City, Fukuoka Prefecture, has welcomed the original illustrations from the picture book 'The Cow'—written by Rintaro Uchida and illustrated by Jun Takahata.
To commemorate this addition, the museum is now showcasing Jun Takahata's original artworks.
Additionally, on Sunday, June 21, 2026 (Reiwa 8), the museum will host two special events: 'Workshop: Let’s Build a Zoo!' and 'Relaxed Talk: Why Picture Books Are So Fascinating!', followed by a signing session.
