Ofuro Cafe Hareniwa no Yu (Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture, hereafter Hareniwa no Yu), a hot spring facility operated by Onsen Dojo Co., Ltd. (Tokigawa Town, Hiki District, Saitama Prefecture, President: Toshiaki Yamazaki), will display 'teru-teru bozu' made from plastic umbrellas inside the facility from Monday, June 8, 2026, until the end of the rainy season.

Broken or otherwise discarded umbrellas are repurposed as teru-teru bozu and displayed indoors, giving them a new life. The colorful umbrellas lined up in new forms will bring a bright and cheerful atmosphere even during the rainy season.

Gloomy skies, humidity, and continuous rain... the rainy season often makes people feel down. We hope guests can relax in the bath, look up at the teru-teru bozu, and enjoy a refreshing, clear-hearted experience.
