The newly released infrared camera, "IR System OM-1 Mark II_IR," is an infrared camera that extends the light reception sensitivity of OM SYSTEM's compact, lightweight, and high-image-quality mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera "OM-1 Mark II" to the infrared region. It enables high-definition infrared photography with excellent maneuverability even in locations where large equipment would be difficult to use. By using the included magnetic detachable filter kit, users can easily switch between infrared photography and normal photography (visible light photography).

1. A compact, lightweight, approximately 20-megapixel*1 infrared camera system capable of shooting in the infrared range of approximately 800nm to 1100nm

This model is a camera with sensitivity ranging from visible light to infrared light. By attaching the included IR transmission filter (IR filter), infrared photography becomes possible. Furthermore, by attaching the equally included visible light transmission filter (UV/IR cut filter), visible light photography is possible, similar to a general camera. The filters adopt a magnetic detachable system, allowing for smooth switching between infrared and visible light photography. By illuminating the subject with infrared light, features of the subject that could not be confirmed with the naked eye can be captured and recorded as photographs with the same operational feel as a normal digital camera. In addition, since it can record with high image quality of approximately 20 million pixels, it is possible to precisely capture even the finest details of the subject.

One is the focus stacking function, which composites multiple photos taken with shifted focus positions into a single image. The other is the High Res Shot function, which generates ultra-high resolution images equivalent to a maximum of approximately 80 million pixels from multiple captured images. These functions are pre-registered in the camera's custom modes (C1-C4) and can be easily set. 3. Tethered shooting that allows control of shooting from a PC

It also supports tethered shooting, where the camera and lighting are set up for the subject, and shooting can be controlled while checking the image on a PC monitor.
